Gamla Lan is a specialist importer of original Swedish Furniture and decorative pieces dating from 1820 - 1970.

Gamla Lan was established in 1993 by John and Alice Rooney in Oxford Street Paddington where we traded for ten years. We then operated in Surry Hills. Gamla Lan now has a wonderful new showroom at 12/9 Danks Street Waterloo (See Map)

The serious shopper can choose from a large and constantly changing selection of outstanding pieces of antique furniture and works of art. Our selection includes carlmalmsten sofas and armchairs, cabinets and desks, ceramics, paintings, mirrors and lamps.

Our aim is that everything should not only be usable but also unusual and a conversation piece. Our clients tell us we are highly successful in this regard.
